Dynamic plug-in hybrid: the Opel Astra Sports Tourer with H&R lowering springs
Opel’s million-seller remains true to its concept, even if it now must share the technical base with its Peugeot 308 brother. The signature of the Astra design is convincing, the dynamic touch of the Sports Tourer puts a lot of lifestyles into the station wagon, and the plug-in hybrid combines the best of both worlds.
Whichever group variant you choose, the H&R technicians strongly recommend installing their lowering springs. Meticulously tuned to the standard shocks, the lowering of the vehicle’s centre of gravity not only enables a more agile steering behaviour, but also significantly reduces the lateral inclination. Nevertheless, the driving comfort remains at the standard level, as does the payload.
It becomes even more sporty when H&R TRAK+ wheel spacers are made of high tensile strength aluminium are installed. These enable the millimetre-precise alignment of both standard and aftermarket wheels at the fender edges and ensure the perfect wheelbase.
All H&R components always have the necessary part approvals and are made in Germany!
