Tradition meets future: H&R lowering springs for the Renault R5 Electric
The French also look back on a long automotive history, with many models that are fondly remembered. The Renault R5 is one such model – so what could be more natural than to bring it back onto the stage at some point?
Naturally, it has been electrified in keeping with the times, yet it still boasts an exciting attention to detail.
We’ve gone one better, because the compact retro model looks particularly chic on the tarmac with the H&R lowering springs, which are already available – simply perfect.
The precise tuning of the spring elements to the standard shocks continues to guarantee pleasant driving comfort, while the lowered centre of gravity ensures more dynamic steering response and reduced roll behaviour – the R5 seems to stick to the road.
In the case of leased vehicles, all H&R suspension upgrades can of course be removed without leaving any traces if the lessor requires the vehicle to be returned in its original condition.
As is customary with H&R, all products are supplied with the necessary part approvals and are made in Germany!
