Audi RS4 “The Sedan” by Philipp Kaess
Anyone who knows Philipp knows where this is headed. Much lighter, much faster, and guaranteed to be absolutely unique.
What Philipp was dreaming of, was a RS4 sedan that was fundamentally based on the RS4 Touring but never was offered by the factory. So he bought an Audi A4 sedan, from year of construction 2000 and started his adventure.
The engine based on the original RS 4 2.7-liter twin-turbo but has undergone countless modifications. A modified crankshaft increased the displacement to 3.0 liters. Larger turbos, a Nissan GT-R intake manifold, a custom-developed dry-sump oil system, a custom-built titanium exhaust system, and much more are intended to deliver an output of approximately 1.300 hp + X, although a final measurement was still pending at the time of publication. As mentioned earlier, in addition to performance, the focus is on lightweight construction.

H&R supplied a custom-made coilover suspension, which was extremely weight-optimized using aluminum damper tubes and racing springs. Further features of this One of One: A completely carbon fiber body shell, a differential, milled from a solid block, special drive shafts, a tubular roll cage, a completely in-house developed new CAN bus vehicle electrical system, and much more. Finaly, the target of 1,200 kilograms, ready to drive, was reached – a true masterpiece!
