Dynamism that gets under your skin: The new Audi A5 with H&R lowering springs
The latest iteration of the Ingolstadt-based mid-range model surpasses itself. This applies not only to its dimensions; the combination of flowing lines with the broad, sweeping rear flanks also makes a powerful impression.
With H&R lowering springs fitted, the vehicle’s width is further emphasised and the A5 sits firmly on the tarmac. When driving, the reduced body roll is pleasantly noticeable, and more direct steering response is another benefit of the lowered centre of gravity. Thanks to the precise tuning of the spring elements to the standard dampers, ride comfort remains suitable for long journeys and the payload capacity is identical to the standard model.
Optionally, H&R Trak+ wheel spacers made from high-tensile aluminium ensure a wide wheelbase. Available in either silver or black anodised finishes, they allow both standard and aftermarket wheels to be aligned with the fender edges with millimetre precision.
In the case of leased vehicles, all H&R suspension upgrades can, of course, be removed without leaving any traces should the lessor require the vehicle to be returned to its original condition.
As is standard with H&R, all products are supplied with the necessary type-approvals (TTG) and are Made in Germany!
