Urban Bestseller: H&R suspension performance for the new VW Tiguan models

The financial pillar of the Volkswagen Group is called the Tiguan. The mid-range SUV has been selling like hotcakes for years. In line with its great popularity with the public, H&R offers a wide range of products that significantly enhance the driving behaviour as well as the appearance of the Tiguan.

The appearance of the ‘little Touareg’ gains significantly with H&R lowering springs, emphasising the width of the vehicle and concealing the space between the body and wheels. In addition, body movements are reduced and steering behaviour is more direct as a result of the lowered centre of gravity. Thanks to the precise tuning of the suspension elements to the standard shock absorbers, the ride comfort remains suitable for long journeys and the payload remains at the standard level. So nothing really stands in the way of increased driving pleasure!

The body roll behaviour of SUVs is inherent to their design. The installation of H&R sport stabilisers promises a remedy with full ground clearance, which, in addition to more precise wheel guidance, ensure more direct steering behaviour and reduced body movement. Nevertheless, ride comfort remains unchanged and the payload remains at the standard level. The H&R stabilisers can be installed either at the front only or on both axles and can be combined with both standard and aftermarket (sport) suspensions or lowering springs. H&R anti-roll bars are made of high-strength special spring steel, are partially adjustable and have larger diameters than the standard anti-roll bars.

As an option, H&R Trak+ wheel spacers made of high-tensile aluminium promise the perfect wheelbase. Available in silver or black anodised finish, they can be used to align standard and accessory wheels with millimetre precision to the edges of the wings.

In the case of leased vehicles, all H&R suspension upgrades can of course be removed without trace if the lessor requires the vehicle to be restored to its as-delivered condition.
As usual with H&R, all products are supplied with the required part approvals and are Made in Germany!
