Dynamism meets elegance: Mercedes Benz CLE 53 AMG with H&R height adjustable springs
Who would have thought that the intersection of the C-Class and E-Class could become such a chic coupé? But what should it be under the hood if performance is on the wish list? If you don’t fancy the 4-cylinder engine of the 63S E-Performance, you can fall back on the “53 AMG”. Six cylinders in a row plus mild hybrid power also promise plenty of steam and, on top of that, there’s also a proper engine sound.
If one of the coveted H&R height adjustable spring kits is also installed, elegance and dynamics are no longer at odds with each other. Although the electronic AMG standard dampers remain active with all control functions, the H&R height adjustable springs enable a variably lowered centre of gravity for even more direct steering response and reduced body movements in fast bends. The ride comfort nevertheless remains fully suitable for long journeys.
With the optionally available TRAK+ wheel spacers made of high tensile-strength aluminium, both standard and aftermarket wheels can be aligned to the fender edges with millimetre precision.
If it is a leasing vehicle, all H&R suspension upgrades can be rebuilt without trace, of course, should the lessor request the delivery condition of the vehicle.
All H&R components always have the necessary part approvals and are made in Germany!
