Big Boys Toy: BMW X5 with H&R lowering springs
The BMW X5 is a statement in itself. The imposing appearance of the Bavarian all-wheel-drive SUV has a large fan base regardless of which year it is build. It is also pleasing that the last and penultimate generation models in particular attract buyers with affordable prices. The budget usually leaves room for a certain degree of customisation. Like the coveted H&R lowering springs, for instance, which not only have a positive effect on the driving behaviour but also bring the look to perfection.
With a moderate lowering of 35 millimetres, the lower centre of gravity results in reduced body movements and a more dynamic steering response for even more driving pleasure. Nevertheless, the typical H&R precise tuning of the spring elements to the standard shock absorbers still guarantees the best ride comfort and unchanged payload.
As an option, H&R Trak+ wheel spacers made of high-tensile aluminium promise the perfect wheelbase. Available in silver or black anodised finish, they can be used to align standard and aftermarket wheels to the edges of the mudguards with millimetre precision.
As usual with H&R, all products are supplied with the necessary part approvals and are Made in Germany!
