Coupé at its best: the Mercedes CLE 300e plug-in hybrid with H&R lowering springs
Stylish coupés have a long tradition at Mercedes. The CLE Coupé fits seamlessly into this history. And it’s not just the exterior that’s perfect; the drive system is also state-of-the-art, as seen here in the CLE 300e plug-in hybrid.
With the coveted H&R lowering springs now on board, a touch of dynamism is added to the dignified appearance. Meticulously tuned to the Mercedes standard shock absorbers, lowering the vehicle’s centre of gravity not only results in more agile steering response, but also noticeably reduces body roll in fast corners or during evasive manoeuvres. Nevertheless, driving comfort remains absolutely suitable for long distances, and the payload remains at standard level.
It gets even sportier when H&R wheel spacers made of high-tensile aluminium are installed. These enable millimetre-precise alignment of standard and aftermarket wheels to the fender edges and ensure the perfect wheelbase.
If leased vehicles need to be returned in their original condition, all H&R products can be removed without leaving any traces.
All H&R products are ‘Made in Germany’ and always come with the necessary part approvals.
