Convincing approach: H&R coil over suspension for the Mercedes V-Class
Lowering a V-Class? What at first glance might suggest a crew bus for F1 teams, proves to be an absolutely driving-active measure with high safety potential on closer inspection. This is because the V-Class, in its various versions, is incredibly fast depending on the engine. The cubic and expansive vehicle design, on the other hand, tends to counteract natural driving dynamics. In addition, depending on the use, there are also considerable loads in the form of passengers and cargo such as luggage or goods.
An H&R coil over suspension is therefore worth considering. Precise tuning to the requirements of a transporter continues to guarantee long-distance driving comfort. The variably adjustable lowering of the vehicle’s centre of gravity ensures significantly more dynamic steering response, and body movements in fast corners or during evasive manoeuvres are noticeably reduced. Nevertheless, the payload remains unchanged at the standard level.
Optional H&R Trak+ wheel spacers made of high-tensile aluminium promise the perfect wheelbase. Available in either silver or black anodised, they allow standard and aftermarket wheels to be aligned with millimetre precision to the fender edges.
