Maximum performance: The Porsche 911 991 Carrera GTS with H&R coil over suspension
The Porsche 911 has been one of the most sought-after sports cars in the world for decades. Its timeless design is just as impressive as its absolute reliability and exorbitant performance. This was a perfect opportunity for the experts at H&R, who have now developed a coil over suspension that allows the vehicle’s centre of gravity to be lowered continuously, thereby significantly expanding its dynamic range once again. Suitable for coupes and convertibles as well as for the respective “S” and GTS models, which can be equipped with either PASM sports or standard suspension, H&R is once again setting new standards.
The adjustment range of the H&R coil over suspension lowers the sports car by between 15 and 40 millimetres. The optionally available deactivation kit disables the standard suspension control without error messages. In addition to the visual appeal, driving pleasure is also enhanced: in combination with the typical H&R tuning, the suspension leaves nothing to be desired when it comes to fast direction changes and high cornering speeds. Added to this is even more direct steering response, and the minimized clearance between the wheel and fender fits like a glove and also suits the all-time classic perfectly.
Optional H&R Trak+ wheel spacers made of high-tensile aluminium promise the perfect wheelbase. Available in either silver or black anodised, they allow standard and aftermarket wheels to be aligned with millimetre precision to the fender edges.
All H&R products are ‘Made in Germany’ and always come with the necessary part approvals.
