Toyota Yaris GR facelift – H&R Clubsport suspension for the sharpened compact sports car
When Toyota presents a facelift, it is rarely purely cosmetic. Especially with the Yaris GR, which has quickly evolved from an insider tip to a serious track tool, it was exciting to see what detailed improvements would further bring the already highly acclaimed all-wheel-drive hot hatch forward. And indeed, the Japanese have made improvements in exactly those points that ambitious drivers will immediately notice.
Toyota makes the right adjustments
For the facelift model year, the spring rates were tightened at the factory, the suspension strut connections were revised, and the top mounts were redesigned. Toyota also further stiffened the structure. The result: even more precise steering response, greater stability at the limits, and clearer feedback from the suspension overall.
Another plus: the lower seating position not only provides more headroom, but also offers a significantly better view from the cockpit.
H&R Clubsport – ready for the next stage of evolution
It was clear to us that if Toyota stepped up its game, we would do the same.
Our H&R tuning traditionally focuses on higher spring rates – consistently suitable for track days, but surprisingly comfortable for everyday use. The Clubsport version is now available for the new Yaris GR facelift, based on the successful concept of the previous model:
- 90 N/mm on the front axle
- 60 N/mm on the rear axle
- Use of the proven racing spring system from our motorsport line
As with the first generation, the suspension includes adjustable top mounts and damping force adjustment. This allows the performance to be precisely adapted to the vehicle, track, and personal driving style – whether on winding country roads or demanding track days.

Ready for the racetrack
With this facelift, Toyota shows just how much potential the Yaris GR concept still has. And with the new H&R Clubsport suspension, the hot hatch gets exactly the setup that ambitious drivers are looking for: maximum precision, clear feedback, and uncompromising driving dynamics.
