The real eye-catcher – now more than ever: The BMW iX1 / iX2 eDrive with H&R lowering springs
BMW is committed to diversity. In this case, that applies to the shape of the body: iX1 – classic SUV lines or iX2: SUV with sloping rear. What they both have in common is the smooth BMW electric drive, which leaves nothing to be desired even in the basic version. But sporty drivers opt for H&R suspension products either way. For example, with the H&R lowering kit now available.
The lowering of the vehicle’s centre of gravity associated with H&R springs ensures more direct steering response, and the side tilt of the tall body in fast corners is noticeably reduced. Nevertheless, payload and driving comfort remain at series level! Visually, the result of the reduced ground clearance perfectly underlines the dynamic appearance of the compact SUV.
Optional H&R Trak+ wheel spacers made of high-tensile aluminium ensure a plump wheelbase. Available in either silver or black anodised, they allow standard and aftermarket wheels to be aligned with millimetre precision to the fender edges.
In the case of leased vehicles, all H&R suspension upgrades can of course be removed without leaving any traces if the lessor requires the vehicle to be returned in its original condition.
As is customary with H&R, all products are supplied with the necessary part approvals/TTG and are made in Germany!
